Channel 4.0 T's & C's
Channel 4.0’s The Intern S2
Terms and Conditions
1. The Intern
The Intern is a Channel 4.0 show coming back for season 2 giving rising content creators the chance to compete in high-stakes challenges — judged by one of the UK’s top 4.0 names — with the winner awarded a day’s paid production internship or Cash prize.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must be aged 18 or over at the time of applying and must be residents of the United Kingdom.
3. Application and Filming Process
Applicants can apply via the casting calls published via Cowshed Casting, StarNow or Backstage. If selected to take part in the YouTube series by Cowshed Collective Ltd, participants will be required for a full day’s filming on the 9th and 10th of October 2025 in London.
Participants will be paid loss of earnings/expenses of up to £100 in regard to the day of filming on the 9th or 10th October 2025. This will be paid by bank transfer within 60 days of the winner providing their payment details.
During filming, participants will take on a series of creative challenges designed to test their skills as content creators — with the winner chosen by the Channel 4.0 host judging the episode.
4. Prize
One winner from each of the six episodes filmed (six winners in total) will receive a paid internship opportunity with Cowshed Collective Ltd or a cash prize. If you chose the internship it will take place on a shoot day featuring the 4.0 host judging their episode. Each winner will be paid a London living wage within 60 days of providing their payment details following the completion of their internship.
The internship will be in-person, in London, spanning no longer than 8 hours on one agreed day between the winner and Cowshed Collective Ltd. Expenses associated with travelling to and from the internship will not be covered and are the responsibility of the winner.
The internship must be taken between the 11th October 2025 and 11th October 2026. Opportunities requested following this date will be deemed invalid.
If a contributor is selected as the winner and chooses to receive the cash prize of £3,000, this will be paid within 60 days of the winner providing their payment details. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner who opts to receive the cash prize will not be entitled to the internship, and vice versa.
5. Winner Selection
Participants will compete in five rounds of challenges, with the winner chosen by the Channel 4.0 host judging that episode. Before each challenge, the judge will brief the contestants on what they’re looking for. The judges decision is final.
6. Notification
Each winner will be notified in-person on the 9th or 10th October 2025 depending on what day they will be taking part.
A member of the Cowshed Collective team will confirm this via email and follow up to organise the internship date and opportunity.
7. Internship Conditions
The internship is being offered by Cowshed Collective Ltd., who will handle all aspects of the internship, including scheduling and payment. Please note that Channel 4.0 is not involved in the administration of the internship or its associated logistics.
The winner is responsible for organising, booking and paying for their travel to and from the internship.
The winner is expected to always maintain a standard of professional and respectful conduct whilst organising and attending the internship with Cowshed Collective. If the winner fails to do so, Cowshed Collective Ltd reserves the right to terminate the internship opportunity at any time.
8. Publicity
By entering, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and application for publicity and promotional purposes without review of the content or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Data Protection
Any personal data provided will be used in accordance with Cowshed Collective’s Privacy Policy, available here.
10. General
Cowshed Collective Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend these application terms at any time. By applying to take part you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
